hallo to area 51 team,
these weeks i begin to switch from old php hardcoding to hook system.
i learn from the very beginning from this syntax (ex. with help from Erik Frèrejean):
http://github.com/erikfrerejean/phpbb3/ ... t_post.php
to me an elementary question is: will this code-syntax to hook-system change or elementary change from 3.0.7 to 3.1/3.2?
and, if exist, is there any documentation to the "new hook-code-syntax", bcs. i don't want to recode again and again, if possible..
hook system changes from now-state to 3.1/3.2

I would expect some changes to the general format, but (I believe) we are going to try to keep backwards compatibility, so I would guess that you would be able to continue using that format.
The hooks system is still in development, so final design is not 100% decided.

so i can take the current hook-documentation, bcs. of (hopefully) backward-compatibility from 3.1/3.2
where can i see the current status of [dev]?EXreaction wrote:The hooks system is still in development, so final design is not 100% decided
