I got this message in the General Panel, but I don´t know where to change the config-file.
"Your config file (config.php) is currently world-writable. We strongly encourage you to change the permissions to 640 or at least to 644 (for example: chmod 640 config.php)."

using your ftp that you used to upload the phpbb files, find that file. right click on it. choose chmod or properties ( whatever your ftp program calls it.
set the permissions to either 644 or rw+r+r ( read write+read+read )

Hm... it was already 644 (rw-r-r) - why that message then?
