Problem with permissions.

Ok, so, I have all of my permissions set how I want them, but one thing is not working.

I have 2 global announcements on my board.

They show up on the top of every thread and in the UCP like I want.

But, when the user clicks the announcement forum when in a thread, he is told that he does not have the permission to view it, even though if he clicks it in his UCP, it brings him to it and lets him view it.

I have re-checked the permissions multiple times, on the group he is in and on the threads he was looking at AND on his personal permissions.

They are all fine and should allow him access.

Anyone know what the problem is?
