Post by SgtSaunders69 »

The following is the basic SRT
Your board's URL:http://peninsulaumpires.org/phpbb/index.php
Version of phpBB3:3.0.4.0.1
Was this a fresh install or a(n) update/upgrade/conversion (please be specific)?Fresh
If update, what package(s) did you use?
Did you use an automated wizard provided by your host to install phpBB? Yes
MODs you have installed:None
When the problem started: Don't know
Your level of expertise (be honest):Rookie

Additionally, you may wish to provide the following (where applicable)
Template(s) used:None
Language(s) used:English
Version of PHP used:3.0.2
Database and version used:
Test account*:

*A test account (username/password) may be helpful if team members need to view a page hidden to guests.

I cannot find any means when logged in as the global administrator to move a post from one forum to another forum. What is the procedure for performing this basic BBS function?

Thanks.

In phpBB3, administrator permissions and moderator permissions are entirely seperate.
An administrator can NOT move posts of they don't have moderator powers.
Put yourself into the global moderators group, and you will be able to move posts.
