did u do the final DIY step? where you have to enter your url: http://www.yourdomain.com/chat_install.php?mode=install to install the database tables. Then delete the file when it's finished.???

yea i did. but i tried installing it on my custom theme i downloaded. but on the part where it has 3 options (my install.xml wont open right now) and it says inline and stuff i think i did that wrong cus mine didnt look exactly like the one it says
