Mass Email Not Showing in ACP.

Post by wired076 »

I have logged into the ACP and navigated to System tab and can't locate the mass email option. I have double checked the permissions but I still can't get it to display.

Can someone please help me to debug and get the mass email module fixed.

By the way I have no idea whether this was caused before upgrading to v 3.0.4 from 3.0.1 or after.

I am running a custom template. Could this be causing the issue even though this does not affect the backend of phpBB?

It should be in ACP>>System>>General Tasks
"Mass email".
Templates affect the Forums layout not the ACP,s.

It is not listed.

I have checked the permissions again and the setting Can send mass e-mail is set to YES.

And yes it is not listed here: ACP>>System>>General Tasks

Have you got board wide emails disabled?

Reminder: the 6 hour bump rule applies here.

Private Messaging is now set to Yes in both Board Features and Private Message Settings. However the mass email option is still not being displayed.

Does the site need to be not disabled for this feature to work?

That is not what ToonArmy asked.

"Enable board-wide e-mails" is the first setting on the "E-mail settings" page.
