If that was the case, we would never get to final.
It's up to the devs to decide which bugs to close, and which ones can be addressed in later releases (or never).

Well, it's like new tickets also have almost stopped incoming. The overall level of open reports is extreme low, compared to the total statistics since the phpBB 3.0 bug tracker opened.

OK - not much longer because we are about to run out of good integers, only a few prime ones left, maybe R6 will do it or maybe R7 with it being a good gold prime integer, biblical, and so prophetic; maybe they will finish in 6 and then, R7 being our gold, on the 7th He will rest :)

Right, time for bug tracker stats (which I haven't done in ages):

Open tickets: 126
  • New: 45
  • Reviewed: 9
  • Review later: 66
  • Awaiting information: 4
  • Awaiting team input: 1
  • Fix in progress: 1
What will be interesting is when the "review later" issues are dealt with.
Life's a game. Just very badly programmed.

you mean this?

Code: Select all

 INSERT INTO phpbb_config (config_name, config_value) VALUES ('version', '3.0.RC8');

but maybe (in a few weeks) Olympus gold is under the christmas tree ;) *wishing*

I said in the competition thread (which I can't find!) that it'd be Gold for Christmas this year. Maybe I was close?

Probably just minor and cosmetic bugs that can be delt with in 3.0.1?

It seems that phpBB 3.0 will go Gold with about 150 open tickets in the bug tracker, and about 6,600 tickets closed. That's not many open tickets, and a quite impressive figure for handled tickets since the bug tracker opened in March '07.

- And I hope that this post create several hundreds of notifications to get people to visit area51!
