No, but to be honest I couldn't care less now. I'm happy with what I have, so no problem in giving 'em time.
Either developers are working on something else (e.g. phpBB2 upgrade), or they apparently seem to even have lives - hard to believe, but we can't exclude it with certainity.

Nicholas,

I couldn't agree more with you than I actually do. Locally, I have seen the first converted 2.0.x boards pop up, the admins are quite busy on them with messing around with settings etc, but it seems to work quite well.

Maybe it will be to some use after all, the time before the release of the Gold version...at least all those admins who are still afraid to go live can get to know phpBB3, and save us from a few support requests :)

was away for a few days here and then RC2!!!

how many bug were open when they released it?
maybe they have fixed a few big/important bugs so they have to release RC2?

If you read the release announcement, it was about getting a more smooth convertor (as I read it) ;)
