Is there a way to have the forum stretch to the full screen instead of appearing inside a fixed portal-like window?
i don't like that part either, but I guess it should be quite easily fixed by editing the template.
We only use fixed sizes for the website. The final style is "fluid" of course.
I was guessing that, but thanks for confirming it. Since phpbb.com is now the 'showcase' of the new style, any chance that phpbb.com can be changed back to "fluid" style? I know the website is in effect part of a portal and you may want to keep it that way, but I would have thought it would be better to showcase the real look even at the expense of it looking inconsistent with the rest of the site.

OMG!!! this topic went from 31 pages yesterday to 50 today… theres no way in the world I'm reading 20 pages of this topic
I'll summarize: 19 of those 20 pages were people counting down second by second after the text was put up yesterday giving a 2 hour countdown clock (some of the posts are pretty entertaining, by the way ).

but then again, that could just be wishful thinking clouding my judgement
Probably so...
I would assume, with good reasoning, that the Dev team is spending time reading posts, replying to topics at phpBB.com instead of continuing work on phpBB3.
And why not? they are excited, as anybody in their position would be... given a little time, they will return to Notepad++ and continue working on it.
