Where is your phpBB root located?
In the www directory root on your FTP server?
Then I can give you the adress to use.

im hosted by http://www.siteground.com and they put phpbb2 on for me. for ftp access the phpbb2 folder is located /.fantasticodata/phpBB2 in that directory.. the only file in the phpbb2 folder is mywebsite.com.

to get to the admin folder i have to scroll down to a folder called www which in that lists my admin folder followed by admin_board.php and alot of other .php files. so thats what i go threw to locate my admin folder.. then i go threw the steps

http://www.myforum.com/www/admin/mods/e ... nstall.php

and then all i get is a this page cannot be displayed..

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f235/ ... tppic4.gif < This One Shows whats inside my phpbb2 folder.

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f235/ ... tppic3.gif <This one shows whats under the Fantastico folder.

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f235/ ... tppic2.gif < This shows whats in the Admin Folder

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f235/ ... ftppic.gif < This shows whats under the WWW Folder.

Hope that helps somewhat.

Your path to the EM install is wrong. It should be something like this:

Code: Select all

http://www.yourforum.com/phpBB2/admin/mods/easymod/easymod_install.php

theres only 1 file in my phpbb2 folder.. and thats the website.com file. everything else like the admin folder is all in the WWW folder. thats why i changed phpbb2/ to www/. or do i have to move everything for the WWW folder and put it in the phpbb2 folder?.

to get to my forum its just http://www.lupisdemortem.com thats my forum. to access everything i want to do to it i have to go into the www folder. i went to add a template i had to go into my www folder and go into templates to upload it there. thats where all my forum files are located.. the only file in the phpbb2 folder is a lupisdemortem.com file and thats it.

So if you can access your forum without including the www in the path, then you would do the same when accessing the EM install file...

So the path would look something like this:

Code: Select all

http://yourdomain.com/admin/mods/easymod/easymod_install.php

Yes, use the Ftp option unless you are on a Windows server...
