Nice. :)

Now, I think the Mark All/Unmark All button should be on the left side(it took me a while to find where it was).

There's a few features missing from the permissions menu though. :|

IPB allows alot more functionality (IPB 1.3.1) for permissions than what phpBB3 has so far (But who knows, we may see more permissions stuff.)

We shoud have the following instead:

Code: Select all

[READ] [REPLY] [START TOPIC] [REPLY] [POLL]
Guests: [x] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]
Like the old "Advanced View" in phpBB2.
Danopia: wats wrong with windows server?
Iyeru: Everything
Danopia: r u another stereotyper?
Iyeru: No, I'm not a stereotyper.
Iyeru: In fact, I don't think I can type in stereo.

I think you are going around in circles...

You say there are features missing from the permissions, but you want a simple permissions interface like phpBB2 had? :?

Though I would have to agree, there are a few more permissions I would like to see them add. :)
(mainly the post and topic approval, instead of having 1 button to control both, have one for posts needing approval before showing them, and one for topics needing approval before showing them)

Topic approval is a good thing, but as you say... it should be a different setting all together per group/member.

Edit:

IE: Have one feature be (In editing member settings via ACP)
-- Moderate all posts by this user?

As well as:

{FORUM NAME} (Forum Settings)
-- Moderate Postings For this forum? (Note: This is with all popular message board softwares.)

And maybe:

{GROUP NAME} (Group Control)
-- Moderate all posts from this group.

That may be true, but I liked the "Advanced View" better, it allowed me to take away specific features (more so than what the permission have now as I and you have said.)

iyeru42,
Everything you've mentioned exists and more...
The Permissions system is quite complex, how long have you worked with it?

It will take the average programmer 1 to 3 months to completely figure it out. :P

This ([START TOPIC]) is the one that is missing... I would have used it on several occasions if it was there.
