I just noticed that during a conversion I ran through as a test, the new board now has all the bots set as registered users.

I am just wondering if that's going to cause a problem with permissions........

I thought I noticed something messed up with the bots on my last install as well...

I didn't look into it very far as I thought it was just me.

I have converted a board with 7,000+ users and 257,000+ posts.

Likewise, I just converted a board with 16,000 users, 530,000 posts and over 55,000 attachments(!) as a practice run - it took a few hours, but everything seems to have worked nicely.

alycad, the convertor is clearly nothing for you. I would wait until beta5 before testing anything.

Ill put in my signature install and convert tips and hints....

About the converter,

After having both databases in one, all as gone as it should. For me no errors or bugs.

After all the comunity still works

Just created a test enviroment on our server and converted the forum very easily. 4940 members and 301670 articles ...

However, it didn't convert smileys or avatars ... so I think maybe I didn't have the permissions on those folders set correctly (though I know I did change them when it alerted me they weren't set correctly. maybe I just didn't set them completely correct)

Very nice indeed Now I just have to figure out the permissions system and I'll be good to go.

I got this warning or error.. in conversion process...
And got an error on 3 smilies :p that converter could not process.. but i guess that they are in smilies table but could have been deleted sometime.

I converted 500.000 posts, 15000 users an many more off all....
It looks good, but ill test a litle more.

I get this error when browsing a forum without being logged.
If im loged this dont appear.

If you can't figure it out by yourself to fix issues encountered when using CVS code, stop messing around with it.

I can, I can, and i have solved.. with file restore.
Somthing as corruped some files, and yes im messing around of course..
