What is the 'forum image' used for? I added in a image, and it shows the image when I'm editing the forum, but if I go back to the board index, it doesn't show up.
Am I confused as to what this image is being used for?

Re: Forum image question
You're probably not using it quite right...
Try this...
in the ACP > Forums > Manage Forums
-- this will show a list of the Categories (usually) --
Let's create a new Category, name it "my test category"
Now INSIDE the "my test category"
Create a forum named "my test forum",
forum type: forum
forum parent: my test category
forum image: images/icons/smile/alien_grn.gif
Save and go to your index.
See it now?
If you don't see the "my test forum/category", make sure permissions are set to enable you to view that forum (and category).
Check now.
It basically makes the "forum image" appear just left of the forum description, show on the index page, Or on subforums when viewing viewforum of a forum that contains subforums.

Re: Forum image question
Yep, that worked. I'm curious as to why there is a option to have a image for a category, if it isn't going to be displayed.....
Thanks for the help though!

Re: Forum image question
A style author may want to show it for categories (because they are only forums too) - we do not make use of it within the style.

Re: Forum image question
Thanks for the clarification, Acyd Burn...
I would assume the same goes for the descriptions as well.
