Why the downtime?

Why has this board been down a while, rumour has it, something is happening with a new beta...

Hmmm I have found at least one fix. My outer IP changes when I load any page (balancing cluster). Until now, I could not even write anything here, because: 1. I login 2. My IP changes 3. I'm kicked out due to this change. Now this is fixed.

AOL probably. I think they do that for some reason :unsure:

As far as I know AOL is running transparent Proxy to safe bandwight and traffix. But I'm unsure, too.
