Area51 RFC Prefix

Post by MichaelC »

Do we really still need the [RFC] prefix on all topics now that we have the new forum layout and we don't have 'accepted' RFCs any longer?

I have not been using RFC prefix for a while now. It mostly seems to be fine.

The biggest loss I would guess is in quick distinction between topics where real work tries to happen (RFCs) and all the other ones. But this probably applies to release managers more than everyone else.

Maybe we could make RFC forum names bold or something in search results.
