Thanks for the efforts team.

I can report that I've updated my phpBB 3.3.1 localhost replica testbed (CentOS 8 with PHP 7.4) by following https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3 ... date_full/.

No issues with the update process and so far so good with my sanity testing. I'm trying to figure out

There is no tracker link (yet) and a side-by-side check of ACP->Permissions doesn't seem to show anything different AFAIK.

Other than testing the update process, is there anything else that the phpBB development team would request that people test with this release?

I have looked through the fixes via the CHANGELOG.html and checked any that might impact the boards I operate.

I'd mention 2 notification fixes:
- [PHPBB3-16544] - topic_notify.txt is wrongly used for forum subscriptions -> splits new topics/new posts notifications for forum subscriptions,
- [PHPBB3-16208] - No option for email for "Notify me" when a reported post is dealt with -> fixes/adds notifications on reporting PM, on closing PM report, on closing post report.

I think the most important thing is: Circular dependencies when cron task depends on controller.helper :ugeek:
