A quick extension that I have "thrown together" which might help prevent some issues. I am not giving any guarantees about false positives (or negatives)!!

Getting back on track to phpBB 3.3.0, has there been a roadmap published that would provide any further information on future betas and/or release candidates before the phpBB 3.3.0 gets released?

To date my testing of updating from phpBB 3.2.8 to phpBB 3.3.0-b1 has been smooth once I figured out which extensions were impacted by the .yml syntax issues. I'd like to continue to help the phpBB development team testing phpBB 3.3 but am in the dark on what steps are next and roughly when. Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks team.

Like everybody else.
You can fork the repository, check-out the 3.3.x branch, install it so to test the current snapshot, if you so wish.

phpBB 3.3.0-b2 will be the next release, no ETA.

Hello,

On my local test server, under 3.3.0-b1, I wanted to check the aspect of the different captcha solutions and tried to register after logging out.
I get the message Registration is disabled (this is a translation from French to English).
Checking the tab Registration settings in the ACP, the checked mode on the first line is correctly By the administrator.

Well, in such a case, I'll have to search myself for an explanation.

I've found the reason.
email was disabled on my test board (see lines 36-37 of ucp_register.php).
