.MOD Tab not there!

I've installed a mod (This one!) but I don't have the .MOD tab in the ACP, does anyone know how I get this?

This is the first mod I have installed on my forum so I'm a little new to this!

I am very much a greenhorn at this, but are you sure that mod has a .MOD tag associated with it? Nyquist multigroup (for example) does not.

Yeah, that's how you need to access the settings for the mod.

I've tried installing other mods but non of them make the .MOD tab appear. Should there be a file on my server somewhere that I should be installing these mods in for them to make the .MOD tab appear?

I tried the MOD you mentioned... did you run the install file from your browser? I didn't notice it in the instructions, but it did say to upload spammer_install.php to the root. When I ran the file, the .MODS tab did appear and the MOD was installed.

For the case of other MODs, there may be DIY instructions to enable them.

Thank you SO much Darcie! It's all working, I just hadn't ran that file! I might post up the other mods that I'm trying to install and see if you could explain why they haven't worked too!

I'm not seeing an obvious installer in it. Try going directly to the antispam folder in the browser.
