When did this error start? After install, after an update?

What package did you use? The Automatic Update, the Installation package or the Patch/File package? Also, what version was your board running before you updated?

I don't see a package available that could have gotten you from 3.0.0 to 3.0.4, which is probably part of your problem. As long as you don't have any MOD's installed your best option is to take the full 3.0.4 package for a new install and upload all the files overwriting everything but your config.php in the forum root folder. You would then need to re-run the database_update.php in the install folder to make sure the schema changes for 3.0.4 are run.

Note: As a general practice you might want to get in the habit of making a backup of your forum, database and files, before making any changes or updating versions.
