Registration page form with fields?

Is there a way for me to add fields that I want users to fill in on the registration page? I've got some fields I would want to require for a new user to register. I searched the temporary KB, but am not ahving much luck finding anything if it can be done. Any direction is much appreciated!

You are looking for "Custom Profile fields", which are on the "USERS AND GROUPS" tab.

Found these instructions useful - but what if I would like to use a "secret password" instead of for example numbers or yes/no ?
Is the numbers field type limited to "numbers only" - or is it possible to use letters as well - like if I would like the secret code to be 'cool' would I be able to enter that into the 'lowest allowed number' and 'highest allowed number' fields in the Profile type specific options page in the ACP and put whatever value in the 'Default value' field?
Or do I have to use some other type of 'Field Type' (single text file) ?? But when trying to use the single text field option it seems I can only set the number of characters and not match it to the "secret password" of my choice?!
Any suggestions ??

It has to be a number.
I think there are some MODs available to allow a secret word to be used. You will have to wait for phpbb.com to come back online so you can access the MOD database. With luck that should only be a couple more days.
