Users online ?

Hi all im new to here , i was just wondering if anyone can help me ? i want to no if there any mod that will keep user's showing online when the are not ?
im on a site that is showing members online when they are not is it a mod , or a glitch on that site ?

You are wanting to confirm that this might be possible for a site that you use but do not run? Do I understand that correctly?

Without knowing the site, it is possible that the board admin made some change to display that there are users online when they are not. Perhaps more likely is a long "view online" time span- meaning that the user may have left in the last x number of minutes, but the board still displays them until a certain amount of time has passed. The default setting would be for users to be displayed as online over the last 5 minutes. An admin might change this if they want to make the board appear more active. But, without knowing the site in question and the admin's intentions, it is difficult to give you a complete answer.

It’s a site I use, it says it show users over the last 24 hours but I know that 75% have’nt been online for a while longer, It’s just something I want to try on my site & was hoping there was a mod out for this

For a MOD that shows an extra block of users online over the last 24 hrs, you can use something like Activity Stats MOD. As far as altering it to show more than the last 24... see this post at the bottom of the first page of that topic.
