well how do you pronounce Linux, "Line-ux" or "Lin-ooks"

personally i say Lin-ooks but my dad is admoant its Line-ux

Huh, I was prepared to go off on you all, but then I listened to the sound file, and it sounds just like how I say it. I would have spelled it differently though.

Lin - ucks (Lin rhymes with "in", ux rhymes with "tux")

i'm going with absinthe here. I've always pronounced it as lin-ucks as well... or, in dutch, l-ee-n-ucks
