Intel Pentium M
Yeah true this *beep* is for portables but it does better than any processor if you check performance/energy consumed.

It really depends, AMD or Intel. I just go with whatever overclocks the best for the littlest money. My last purchase was an AMD Athlon XP 1700. I payed twice the price to get a gauranteed Thoroughbred B core, JIUHB stepping, week 0310, a DLT3C (1.5volt), XPMW.

My next system will probably either be a revision E AMD K8 or a Pentium M C0 Dothan.

Well....i am about to built a new pc this month. i need it for video and audio editing.i am between amd 3500 and pa 3.4. hmmm which will suit me better?

Personally I prefer Intel, which is what my Webserver has and also my other PCs

At the end of the day its what the end-user prefers!
