PS3 specs released...

According to both of the stats for Xbox 360 and the PS3, they're simply a tie between each other. Both have their ups and downs, but looking at the true stats, it really goes with game performance and quality. As of now, we'll also have to keep up because the Nintendo Revolution is coming our way with those systems.

Not really... on paper, the Xbox 360 has 1 TFLOP, and the PS3 has 2.18 TFLOPs.

Yeah but unless you have HD TV, really who needs that much power in a gaming console. They are both MASSIVE overkill and in the end, us, the consumers, who tend to look for specs and not performance, will pay for it. Around 400 dollars more than PS 2 and XBOX, I reckon. It's overkill, not needed, and it's going to cost us a fortune!

The Xbox 360 product manager has already said that the Xbox 360 will be released at the same price as the Xbox ($299). The PS3 will have to follow suit if Sony would like to win the console wars.

I'm not sure on that one as there is a huge fan base for playstation who will only buy the ps3 even if it does cost $500.
