Sounds nice, bluetooth controller. Now theres something that catches the eye, and no I don't think the mods will complain about this topic. As long as it dosen't devolve into stown throwing between XBox and PS fans!

In that case, I shall begin by stating the Xbox specs were released before the PS3 and it also includes bluetooth controllers? ;)

To be honest, I think at this point in the fight, its all about the game developers. Because it has got to a point where the hardware fight advanced to a level where games dont really test the hardware's potential. And lets not forget, its the games that make up the console so lets keep our fingers crossed!

Yeah, i kind of noticed that the PS3 seems increadibly over specked for a game console. But then again, i suppose it sounds cool to those who won't laugh at you because you wasted a whole heap of money on overkill.

Interested about XBox 360 though, didn't know specs where out. Will do a comparison shortly

Some xbox360 stats there.

ps3 is a monster of a machine but the problem is for the graphics to be nice and shiny on it you will need a large high definition tv costing around $5000 for it to look as good as the demos they have been showing. In reality it will look no better than the xbox360.

If NED (nano-emissive displays) work out, then it won't cost $5000 to buy a large (42"), high-res screen like that -- it will cost under $1000. Still not an impulse item, but a lot easier to get, and the smaller screens of more conventional size will probably be near the cost of current standard TVs.
You can never go home again... but I guess you can shop there.

I guess but is still quite expensive. Although my main concern that games for each are rumoured to cost £50 each, which is a lot for a game.

I have started to see new games at a $55 starting price. As well as a lot of gamer mags are stating about a raise in game prices. But I doubt if the increase in price means a increase in game play. :x

Is going to be more like a decrease as only going to be realisticly afford a new game every 3 months. Maybe developers will put more effort into the game for the price but I doubt it.
