That's phpBB hosting made by some 3rd party for those newbs who can't set up a forum... It's nothing new, since rapidforum.com and other pages offer the same kind of "service": ad-bloated "quickstart" forums for newbies.

Indeed, it is a third party service, and nothing to do with us.

Yes, they suck, you can't apply your own mods etc...If you got a decent to good broadband connection with approx 256 to 512 kb/sec upload set up your own webserver with php and mysl, because you have full control off that and no limitations are there you can mod and do anything on your forum :)

yeah, but that one site gives hundreds of pre-installed skins..................many of which are not avalible from phpbb.com. In addition, it increases phpbb's popularilty by putting more phpbb boards on the net. :)
Think that the developers have secretly stopped working on PhpBB v2.2? Think again........see the latest progress HERE:

Yum yum yum vannila ice cream :P the best there is, but what he says is true. I left my current phpBB completly original all I adapted is the skin, and I installed the Attachment mod, because I was really missing the option for attachments.

I'm going to get 2.2 then install a quick reply mod and I'll be all set.

I like http://www.phpbb-host.com." target="_blank They've been around for quite a while, and while they only have about 50-60 skins total, they are always adding more.
