What I meant was that I could do it legally! I'm Jewish, and we have wine every friday night. And an occasional shot of scotch.

That's what Dan meant. I'm also pretty sure that you can buy it from sixteen here, but it might be eighteen...

Legally you can buy wine or beer (but not spirits) with a meal in the UK from 16. You can legally buy any alcoholic drink with or without food from 18 :)

Mediteranian countries are the best, they really don't give a damn what you drink, or at what age you do it :D
