The suggestion is not a matter of changing a broken link to a new link. The suggestion is to use another page mode for allowing access to Yahoo! messenger much like WLM does now. I'm surprised you don't see doing that, adding multiple lines of code to totally change how something works, as new functionality...

Well MSN Already uses that page, all we have to do is modify just a few lines into its template and the php files.
What if we change the way it works?
As a replacement i guess you could just add a link to the user profile. Still, if this isnt going to me included in the next release, i might try making a MOD that ads that.

I'd still go the route callum mentioned and create a ticket. Your "MOD" should just be a pull request. Try it! You might just like it and do more.

I didnt start making the mod as i couldnt figure out in what files i should do the modifcations.
Does the dev team agree on doing this?
If so, then maybe someone else will agree to make the patch. Letting the broken ym web page there is useless.
