Anyone else notice the automatic quote and link when you PM someone from a topic?
I really like this feature.

Yes, but I think the link should be preceded with Topic: <link>
Otherwise, it can get confusing why it's quoted.

Clicking the link itself can answer the question of course but yes I agree. Still, I do like it

Wow i hadn't noticed that... that's pretty slick. I do agree that it'd be cool to have a Topic Title somewhere in there...

Maybe they will fix it either after seeing this thread or during 3.2.x? Either way I think people will catch on after the first few ones they get of these. They could also make the link a different color to signify that it's not a normal off-site link I think, though that's probably a style thing.

The topic title is given in the PM title, at least last time I tried the button.

Yes, that is correct… the topic title does show up every time you press the pm in a topic.
I think the question though was they wanted it to show up, instead of
PM'ing from a topic
I think they are wanting it to be:
Topic: PM'ing from a topic

Re: PM'ing from a topic
well right now within the PM is says ":PM'ing from a Topic" and it's a URL... it'd be cool if it said "PM'ing from a Topic: {Topic Title}" That away a quick look at the topic title and you know which topic they are talking about. Rather than having to click the link and see which ones they are talking about if they don't leave the quoted text in there.

Erm, "PM'ing from a topic" is the topic title.
Currently it is like this:
{topic title}
some people would like to get this:
Topic: {topic title}
