some suggestions

Hello all (again)

I hope you guys dont get annoyed at all my requests, but I feel that if I have something positive and helpful to say, then I should! so please dont kill me lol

Now, I'm not a very I.T type of person and dont know much about PHP. However, I've looked about in my admin control panel and it seems that I cant show the subject of the last post in forums.

Let me explain. You know how in the phpBB main forum page, you can see all the various forums and catagories, where you can see the auther in the "Last Post"? Well, I was wondering why doesn't it have the subject as well in the "Last Post" box as well?

I've seen other forums have this and it helps a lot. It doen't have the full topic name because sometimes they are too long, but it just has a bit of it if its too long!

Here is an example of what I mean:

Also, how about having "Quick Reply" as an integrated feature as well?

Will the development team be looking into this feature anytime soon?

Who put itching powder in your pants mate? calm down.. nobody has told me about there not being any Quick Reply mod before this.. I'm not a mind reader and the information I required was not clearly visible to me.. take it easy!

I did say I was sorry and it wont happen again.. do wish to draw some blood while you mock me as well.. I know how to use Search, so don’t patronise me!

My thread had to do a lot more with "last post" than quick reply and I was told / misinformed by a MODERATOR to post here for “for phpBB 2.2 related questions and answers in future” which caused the confusion!

I’m gonna stop posting on this thread now before the whole moderator crew come in and start busting my balls! lol

Just to clarify here, you are welcome to post questions and answers relating to 2.1 as it stands, so the moderator who directed you to do so was not mistaken. You should not post suggestions about the future of the project unless specifically asked.
