The developers don't feel that a calendar is a necessary feature for a forum software and I agree. There will for sure be MODs though.

Just thought I'd mentioned that yes there will be at least one mod to provide calendar functionality for 2.2...

No sense in trying to put something together at this early stage though with all the changes that are sure to be included. For now it's a watching brief for people like myself and NetClectic (mini-cal), etc..
