Why forum variable is in URL?

Post by bobby124 »

Hi,

Why forum variable is in URL? Ex: viewtopic.php?f=1121&t=15135
Because when we move this topic in a other forum, its URL change.
Can we remove this variable?
I use SEO mod and i wish stop to use it. Is there a solution to do it without suffering?

Good question... Especially considering that when you manually remove the forum id the url still works.
