Indeed, there's a RC8 coming. :(

Not totally surprising, to be honest. Lots of fixes in the past weeks.

And that's what separates phpbb from Windows. Windows would have gone Gold four release candidates ago, bugs and all. ;)

If RC8 turns out to be squeeky clean, then RC8 will be re-launched with a Gold ribbon. If it's not clean, and I hate to say it, expect an RC9.
