i heard scully and moulder talking about it lately...

Yeah, "The phpBB-files", subtitle: "Unsupported until RC1 - and about area51, it's just a site like many others, we're not hiding anything there - and Bertie is really a toy, not the codename for an alien creature".

Maybe SHS` or theFinn himself could enlighten us :)

Have you actually looked at the memberlist?

That's hardly years and years ago ;)

I'm surprised he doesn't visit more often… that is now over a month ago :?

Yes I know :) (even if I can't see his last visit date since he hides his online status ;)) But, except if he often posts in private forums (you must know that better than me :)), we can not say he's still active (at least not in the foreground).
Rather take a look at this page and you'll see what I want to say :)

But ok, if he is now only involved in phpBB in the background, then all I've said is wrong but I (and all members) can not know such things ;) (so, for us, he's not active :P and of course it's not at all a reproach)

What makes you so sure theFinn isn't active? Maybe he sits on the top of Mount Olympus and liberally throws lighting bolts (and SHS`!) at us when things aren't going like he wants? and ;)

Isn't he actively providing guidance for the Finnishing touch? 8)

Does Jon really like being thrown down Olympus Mons? I can't imagine that would be much fun...

But then again, I can't imagine changing customize to customise would be much fun either. Yay for find and replace tools 8)

To answer the original question: Don't count on it.

Just from a regular member, my view is that he is not active in the phpBB community anymore. I don't see his involvement at current and I just like to know what's his involvement with phpBB now? It's just a curious question.

I guess his rank title does not disappear though he is not involved in the project anymore; other than having ownership of the domain. And that is all I see from him.

I'm not saying anything bad about him. If he is involved in the production of phpBB, it is all good. If he is not, I do not mind either.

From the confusion of the phpBB staff, it can imply that they do not know much about theFinn.
hmm....
