Latest CVS snapshot from today, first install page:
Note: This release is still not final. You may want to wait for the full final release before running it live.

8) The word "Beta" isn't mentioned anywhere anymore. :D

But I quoted it because it says, this is Release Candidate. 8)
But of course you're right.

you might be interested in looking at this diff:
http://phpbb.cvs.sourceforge.net/phpbb/ ... 96&r2=1.97
pay attention to the 3rd and 4th trunk of the diff.
this is the language install file, and was committed yesterday by acyd. (hint: search for the words "beta", "release" and "candidate").

They'll need to test it for a few months with the word beta changed to 'release candidate' in order to see if the change of that phrase breaks anything

Judging by the way the bug tracker's going, it probably will!

 good one.

Unfortinatly, if it does come out soon, I am using SubDreamer for my website so I have to wait for them to release support for phpBB3 before I use it.

Oh well, it will give my members time to test the new forum, like I have been telling htem to do for months but they will not do.
