There will always be bugs, but there is nothing like being a developer and closing bugs... makes me feel excited when I'm doing it

Why do you think there is a sudden explosion with bugs? They arn't all related to the converter.
Do you think its just that more people are posting bugs because they can update their phpbb2 board? Or that now we are testing it more extensively because we have more posts? Or that they are just mostly dud bugs?

Ummm... not sure about that. Perhaps a more accurate statement would be that it's been a while since the release of a beta version of phpBB 3.0 has produced such a large number of bug reports in such a short period of time.
