If that's the case, maybe we should skip 3.0 and head for 3.2?

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Well, I don't know. They've certainly harvested some a dozen non-bugs, but fixed none so far (only two commits in the last two days).
They're surely(?) doing something, but we don't know what. They might also be taking a week off after beta5 heads-up.
(But, for some reason, I don't believe so :P )

They have said in another thread they are preparing phpBB.com for the change to 3.0 as well as other aspects of the main site, and I believe they also mentioned there are a few other side projects underway.

RC1 is a definite maybe.
Personally, I think with how many bugs have shown up in the tracker, we should see a Beta 6.

Too much Schnapps?

I still don't think there is enough bugs/severity to go with a Beta6, I think it's expected to see the surge of bugs after a release, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the same sort of thing happen with an RC release, though I would hope there are fewer.
Look at the content of these bugs... converter mostly... UTF-8... etc..

- Just wait till I start overhauling the lang files again

It´s pay back time for dev. team using dirty tricks like these :

acp/email.php :

""SEND_IMMEDIATLY" changed to : ""SEND_IMMEDIATELY"

- almost impossible to spot, when the lang pack validator says it misses a lang key ...
