I think the dev's wanted it that way. As far as I can remember the f=$forum_id was added to the query string so that the global announcement would be displayed in the forum template it was accessed from. That would suggest that the global announcements weren't supposed to be bound to a forum.

You might not always remember which forum you started a global announcement in. I would be quite *beep* off if I made up an announcement and then accidently deleted it with the forum I had it in.

So I think it should stay unattached to all forums. It is easy enough to delete it if it is no longer needed. Once the announcement period is over, it gets dumped into the forum it was started in. If that forum no longer exists then it is deleted..

Hmm, someone was messing with the styles at one point. Appears they broke it. Strange that we can't just get to the admin panel via http://olympus.maccvs.com/adm/index.php" target="_blank though, since the style on the board isn't suposed to affect the admin panel one for when people do stupid stuff like this.

So I reloaded the tables:
bb_config table
bb_styles
bb_styles_imageset
bb_styles_template
bb_styles_template_data
bb_styles_theme

and still an error! Someone really f'd it up.
