The Developers don't care what you use. They'll keep coding phpBB whatever you wish to use, though if phpBB is what works best for you, then that's great... otherwise it's no big loss.

I am preety sure that you haven't seen the full abilities of new phpBB. Wait and you will see. THat thing surely beats SMF. and many other boards (I am an IPB owner, lame ba***** but could not wait for phpBB3). I think the final realase will manage to compete Vb and IPB. Waitting for the new template..... (i hope I like it because I am so curious and i dun want to get dissapointed. :D )

P.S The only thing that sucks is the smiles!

New phpBB theme is better the old one. This is like Windows Vista and phpBB2 is like DOS. :mrgreen: Makes sense eh?

Out of curiosity, this board is:
phpBB 2.1 or
phpBB 2.2 or
phpBB 3 or
phpBB Olympus

So many threads, so confusing for a person who doesn't speak English.

It's all of the above in reference to people talking about it, especially in reference to old threads.

<SARCASM NOT FLAMING>
ME - Stares at search button...
'Do you think people will ever notice it, it looks so lonely up there near the FAQ, Members, and User Control Panel Buttons. Maybe it should fill the page and be highlighted red... Flashing red... With fluro green spots...'

ME - Also tries to count how many almost identical topics i've seen, with identical responses from almost identical users... Wow... It's really quite impressive, it's like we are caught in some form of vortex... Hmmm...
