Hi!

I'd just like to know if there will be a feature to add a new field to profile?
I mean like a mobile phone field. So that the user must give their mobile phone type and everyone could see that on their profile (under the location or wherever).

I've done that manually with the older phpBB forums but it'd be better if this new phpBB would support that.

Yes, it is (at least is was) in ACP.
As to phpbb 2.0.x there is the "xdata" mod that adds that functionallity to ACP.
