That current speed could change at any time, thereby making any guestimate inaccurate. Say that Acyd Burn were to lose his day job today and be able to work on phpBB full-time. Beta could easily be released within 6 weeks, were that to occur.

Firefox uses the same method and is accurate to within a few seconds 90% of the time here.
