As it holds a loads of mods, I don't think so unless, the author provides a way to upgrade himself.

We do not support third party forks in any way. You'll have to ask the author of that particular fork for your answer.
Need good web hosting? I recommend Hostrocket.

from what i can tell phpbbfm has usually released an updated version shortly after phpbb releases a new update (2.0.14 for example).

I bet phpbbfm will release a new version, based off of phpbb3 once its released.

well i only ask because MJ stated in his forum that his FM board will be upgradeable to phpbb3.....

I asked how he planned on doing that and he replied with some 2nd grade remark.

I agree completly!
I think MJ will have to rely on his Talent, Knowledge, and Expertise! Which he has proved he has in abundance.

According to this link, the core tables are unchanged. This means you should be able to upgrade to phpBB3 when the time comes.

If you're asking if you'll be able to upgrade and keep all of the preinstalled mods that come with phpbbfm, the answer is no.

Sorry but I have to agree with everyone else. For me the Fully Moded PHP is overkill. I would have settled for a moded PHP that is using only mods that have already been integrated and supported by PHPBB 3.x.
