I use EMacs (for windows, usually, but not always) for my PHP editing, when hacking on phpBB or other PHP based applications...for that matter, I use Emacs for editing lots of other things, as well.

I use VS.net 2k3 all the time and it is great (I agree that it is the best MS product ever), but I have never tried using it for php, where would you get a patch for it to do that?

I use dreamweaver mx 2004. It's a powerful software.
The functions that I like best in that software is the argument list for each function and the syntax higlighter

I use dreamweaver as well and have yet to see all that extra stuff that's supposedly added when you edit files.

Dreamweaver and Photoshop is my way of life. But i'd love to upgrade to Visual Studio .net i've never had enough time with it.

I developed XMB 1.9.1 in Visual Studio - without any helpers. It was a fine editor.

I now use Eclipse and PHPEclipse with dbg and so on. Fantastic collection of tools.
