phpbb 2.2 exactly like IPB?
Why? its horrible, IPB is the worst ever thats why people got Phpbb, but now its changing into the complicated IPB which no ones knows how to use because its so crap, so why did you do it?

Well, IPB copied phpBB's style, so naturally they look similar.

@JPortal: I agree that - the last time i tested the beta (some month ago) - administration wasn't that easy as it might.
However I would not compare it to IPB. Since this is free board we should help to improve phpbb and submit ideas for a better board. Just stating that you doint like it doesnt help anyone.

IPB came out before this, the user panel is very similar

Well, if you don't like 3.0, then just stick with the 2.0.x series.

At first it seems complex but it isnt once you know how. Plus I think it was mentioned at one point there might be a "simple" mode. When it is released there will be a tutorial/faq etc explaining it for those who find it complex.
