Currently you do, I don't know how it will be when the first Beta or RC gets released but that is known to no one and only time will tell.

Also please keep in mind that no support is offered for the CVS releases

Sorry to get an old thread in the spotlight again. But in the adminpanel I can't reach the permissions-tab. I get a general error: Module not found. After some searching I found the add_permissions.php, but when I try to open it in any browser (Safari, Firefox, Opera whatever) i get a blank page. This way I can't set permissions for testing. I'm using the 2.1.x CVS. I know that there isn't any support but maybe somebody here has had the same problems and knows how to solve it? I'm running the phpBB 2.1.x CVS localy on my Mac mini with OSX 10.4.3. That means it's an Apache server with MySQL database added. Thank you all in advance people!

Oh, and a happy new year to ya 'all!

Last I looked, the Permissions Module was offline.

How do you mean, offline? It wasn't in the CVS?

As the forum rules at the top of the page say, no support is offered. The CVS versions are naturally unstable, and are not a final product by any means.

I am very aware of that. I was just hoping that maybe one of the users that are also testing with the CVS, had the same problem and found a solution. At this moment, I can't realy test because I can't give permissions to the newly made forums. But, if there is no answer at the moment, i'll simply have to wait.

AcydBurn just revamped the admin panel, and the permissions section hasn't been put back together yet.
