What do you mean when you say, "not everything is there?" Like, is there the UCP, the same features for the ACP, and the other major features such as password protected forums, sub-forums, global announcement, etc.?

the main stuff is there like what you mention. But this board is ahead of the cvs. Just download it if you are experienced in mysql and php and see for yourself.

Just remember dont post bug reports, fix them yourself.

There is an ACP demo on phphacks.com

http://www.phpbbhacks.com/phpbb22/index ... caf131c57e" target="_blank

Click on the normal admin panel link in the footer. Im guessing with the awsome permissions sytem (i have used but not sure of all of its features) it was possible to make users see the admin pannel but not change anything.

Or more likely they just removed the if statement int the PHP code that checks to see if they are an admin or not. Allowing all uses to see the ACP is a feature I cannot see ever being needed except in a demo enviroment, in which case you can just change the single if statement.

I'm testing with it right now. I've found, as expected a lot of bugs, but I'm fixing them. Don't worry, I won't report them here

For the laws of physics too...
