ACP Demo???

Post by Woodley »

Hey, I was just wondering if there is an ACP demo that I can use to test, not just pics of it, but a demo, like the one on http://www.phpBB.com." target="_blank Is there one?

No, for the simple reason that it is not finished, and it would be too much work to keep a demo of that form up to date at this time.

No, but you can download the newest CVS snapshot.

But can't you download the entire phpBB 2.1.x package, with the ACP on the CVS Snapshots Page?

But CVS is unsupported and any issues you run into whilst using it are your problems to solve.

I see. So you're saying you have to have some knowledge of MySQL, etc.?

That is what the licence agreement on the snapshot downloads page says isn't it?

Don't worry, the snapshot is quite easy to use ATM. I downloaded one last night and it's pretty good (despite forum view needing a fix).

If you can install phpBB2.0.x you shouldn't need help with the snapshot as it is.
Then again...

So if I download the snapshot first of all, which one should I get, and secondly, will it be like this board, with the same features and stuff?
