Question: will there be an attachment option in phpBB2.2 ?_?

I didn't know if this question had already been posted or where to post it so sorry if i did something wrong ^^"

i wanted to ask if there will be an attachment option in PhpBB2.2
i've found very usefull the attachment mod of phpBB, but i've never been able to install it cause it's a very difficult kind of installation process ^^"
so wanted to ask you if you were thinking of improving an attachment option in phpBB2.2 so that people could upload images or zip files directly from their hard disk. i think it will be very usefull ^^

Attachments will be part of phpBB 2.2.

This is strange. When you post, the attachment box is there, however, I see this on the bottom of the viewforum page

No feature requests within the forums please...

Plus not doable on the basis of broken web browsers, namely IE, as it's unable to update the window whilst a post is in progress, and for a progress meter to work "properly", the browser should really be able to accept an HTTP server "pushed" stream, which is can't and chokes on.
