Can phpBB 2.2 run over IPv6 or only over IPv4? What about both together?
Thanks

Re: IPv6
Since most of the internet works on IPv4, there really isn't any reason for phpBB to support IPv6 yet. The extent of IPv6 functionality would probably be the IP logging...
For the few people who actually use IPv6, Microsoft has a special encoding system called Teredo that handles converting between IPv4 and IPv6. Microsoft servers supporting IPv6 should have this installed, so phpBB will use the encoded IPv4 addresses the server recieves.

Re: IPv6
IPv6 is a little more than toredo Yes, phpBB 2.2 is compatible with IPv6 ... though it's not terribly well tested (let's just say that come release it will work at least session-wise with IPv6).
