You realize the current 2.1.2 is alpha? No support, no converters, missing features, plenty of bugs and only CVS releases.

Err, no it isn't wise to use it in a live environment, and under no circumstances should you be thinking of replacing your current forum with it just yet :)
You could do what I and others have done, download a cvs snapshot, and install it to have a look/play with all the features. :D
